"Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude. It is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrong doing. It does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres." --1 Corinthians 13

Westminster Presbyterian Church is located on the corner of 35th Street and Woolworth Avenue, in the heart of the historic Field Club neighborhood, only two blocks east of the Field Club of Omaha clubhouse and two blocks west of the Gerald R. Ford Birthplace gardens.

The Gothic Revival brick church faces the park-like boulevard of tree-lined Woolworth Avenue, adding to the ambience of your special day and affording an opportune setting for wedding party photography.

With the comfort of a chapel and the grandness of a cathedral, the sanctuary of Westminster easily conforms for a small intimate wedding or a larger gathering of up to 400 guests.

Westminster is a handicap accessible building. An elevator lift gives access to all levels of the church for the convenience of you and your guests.

"Marriage is a gift God has given to all humankind for the wellbeing of the entire human family. Marriage is a civil contract between a woman and a man. For Christians marriage is a covenant through which a man and a woman are called to live out together before God their lives of discipleship. In a service of Christian marriage a lifelong commitment is made by a woman and a man to each other, publicly witnessed and acknowledged by the community of faith."
